Why can't you see me?

Isn't it obviously,

Written on my face?

I deserve a place,

Even if I don't win this race,

For your affection.

My heart can be yours,

If you want it to be yours...

I wish I had yours.

I know you don't know,

Probably don't even care,

It's so bittersweet.

Seasons trinkle on,

The wind singing a love song,

How long should I wait?

You have someone else,

Can't tell you my feelings now,

Couldn't possibly.

If we had a chance,

To meet in another life,

Maybe then I'd try.

It's not the right place,

You're not fated to be mine,

Wish there was more time.

But in the grand scheme,

Maybe this was meant to be,

Now I can be free.

I finally see,

This love wasn't about you,

It was about me.
