Bittersweet chocolate

Did I mention bittersweet?

By mitty anegoPublished 8 months ago 1 min read

Bittersweet chocolate, cold delight,

Melts like dreams in velvet night.

A dance of dark with sugar’s kiss,

A taste of sorrow, wrapped in bliss.

Scoop of silence, quiet and deep,

Whispers secrets I long to keep.

Each bite, a memory, sharp and sweet,

Where joy and longing gently meet.

It lingers soft on lips, then fades,

Like summer love in twilight shades.

A chill, a smile, a trace of pain—

And yet I crave it once again.

Bittersweet, you pull me near,

With every drop, both joy and tear.

A frozen echo—pure, sincere.
