The fear inside me is binary.
Fear of failure, fear of success.
Terror at the concept of being perceived
Measured in equal parts
By the horror of being unseen.
The lightning strike can power dreams
Or it can slap my heart into failure.
My bones can hold me up or they can break
Under the weight of these ruminations,
These thoughts,
These dreams,
These nightmares.
The fear is binary.
Two stars whipping around one another,
Casting pulsing light across my nightless world.
I crave the dark of sleep but yearn
For the light of day.
Too much bubbles inside of me
Yet there is emptiness in my mind.
I am afraid of nothing
And of everything.

Such contrasts arranged so poetically! Brilliant work, Silver!
"I crave the dark of sleep but yearn For the light of day." Those lines were my favourite! Loved your poem!
Fabulous work. This right here "Terror at the concept of being perceived Measured in equal parts By the horror of being unseen." yes, indeed.
