Bigger Than Words Themselves

The word love isn't the proper word for how I feel about you,

it seems too simple

overused

and small.

Everything I feel for you is complicated

rare

and bigger than the world.

over simplifying the amount of love I have for you by putting it into words

is unfair.

because I have never loved, or cared for some one in the way I

do for you

i feel for you in ways I will never feel for someone else,

and if you speak over my sickly body

watch how illness never will never consume me again.

and it’ll be impossible to fall in love with another

when your eyes have taken me to heaven, and how can I be held by another

when your arms fit perfectly around me like that’s their designed purpose.

what my words are attempting to articulate is,

i used to pray quietly at night for someone who felt like home and treated me right.

And my God,

how you are him in every possible way.
