Beyond Their Judgments

Let them think of me as they will, for my truth is fixed and free.

Let them think of me at their own discretion.

And they think I'll step back or be.

They measure me with their tight standards.

They judge me by their canned thoughts.

Let them talk. Ages don't calm down.

And they don't know I don't care.

The more noise around me.

My belief increased that I was on the right path.

They think I'm weak or afraid.

But I see the truth on their hands, lost.

There is no doubt in the heart of those who do not suffer.

And no time for darkness in a spirit full of light

Let them think I'm a fugitive.

Or in a day, I'll kneel and give up.

But in my heart I am a king who does not bend.

And I'm here, where they can't clear my steps.

Let them fill the world with prejudicial words

And they think it's true.

But I don't need to defend myself.

The truth comes from deep down, like flowers in the spring.

Let them think of me at will.

And if they realize that judgment is not in their hands,

They don't know the power of stillness.

There is no secret to force against time.

I'm not afraid of the shadows they're throwing at me.

Not the storms they send my way.

If they think I'm just a lost illusion.

I think I'm the most realistic and truly honest of them.

Let them think of me at will.

My heart is too big for their narrow ideas to fill.

And I don't need their consent to be

I'm here, I live, I breathe, I write on the sky page.
