Beyond the Veil of Time

The fusion of two souls beyond the boundaries of time

The calendar marks a day once shared,

A milestone of love, now a solitary affair.

Though you're gone, I'm not alone,

Your essence lingers in our home.

Memories bloom like spring's first flower,

Resilient, they hold a mystical power.

In quiet moments, they surge and swell,

Stories of us that time can't quell.

Yet...

It's your smile I seek in morning's light,

Your warmth I miss in the depths of night.

I reach for your hand in empty space,

Yearning for the comfort of your embrace.

I listen for your laugh in the quiet air,

Search for your face in crowds everywhere.

Your voice, a melody I long to hear,

Whispered endearments, once so clear.

Still...

Our souls remain entwined in a cosmic dance,

Defying death's attempt to end the romance.

The pain of absence can't erase

The love we built in this earthly place.

Echoes of you in all I see,

Reminders of what used to be.

And yet...

I find you in the garden's bloom,

In sunlight piercing through the gloom.

In starlit skies and gentle rain,

In joyful songs that ease the pain.

You're in the laughter of our friends,

In family bonds that never end.

In the morning dew and evening breeze,

In rustling leaves of ancient trees.

Always...

I'll seek you in my heart's deep core,

Where love resides always.

Two lives entwined by fate's design,

Your spirit is forever linked with mine.

Though death may claim your mortal part,

Our love transcends a timeless art.

In life, in death, through joy and strife,

We remain one - beyond this life.

Forever...
