Beyond the Last Breath

would be fitting for the poem we just wrote.

By Yahya BukhariPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

What lies beyond the last breath we take?

Is it a world of peace or endless ache?

Do we float in a void or find ourselves anew?

Or are we simply gone, our time on Earth through?

The thought of the unknown can strike such fear,

Leaving us in doubt and wondering if it's near.

But perhaps it's a gift, a new journey to unfold,

A path of serenity, where we're never old.

Maybe we'll soar through a radiant light,

And dance among the stars with all our might,

Or reunite with those we lost in time,

And find a love that's truly divine.

Whatever's beyond the last breath we take,

We can't be sure until we're at its gate.

But until then, let's cherish this life we've been given,

And embrace every moment, as if it's our last to be livin'.
