Beyond the Horizon

Beneath the sky where amber meets the blue,

I walk the edge where earth and sky collide.

Clouds stretch like sails upon an ocean’s hue,

And sunlit waves pull shadows far and wide.

The light bends gently, gold threads in the air,

Each beam a bridge between the day and night.

I trace the warmth, a promise whispered there,

A path that turns beyond my faltering sight.

Yet then, a shift—the colors slow their race,

The world leans back, content in quiet’s hold.

What I sought was not some distant place,

But the stillness found within the sun’s bold fold.

A calm that wraps around the restless mind,

And shows what’s lost is never left behind.
