Beyond

Vampire

By Swords and Feathers Published 3 years ago 1 min read

Beyond what you see,

There's more to me,

You may remember the fire,

A glowing care,

You may remember the warmth,

How fast I've frozen from death,

There is no heartbeat,

I do not feel the light,

Beyond this point there's more,

I'm capable of sheding tears

I am able to love,

There's more to me than the grave,

You may remember the warmth,

How fast I've frozen from death,

There is no heartbeat,

I do not feel the light,

There is more to me beyond dust,

Now the fence around my grave rusts,

There is more to me than the crypt,

You'll find me in the memories you've kept,

You may remember the warmth,

How fast I've frozen from death,

There is no heartbeat,

I do not feel the light,

Beyond life there's another existence,

Do not fear the silence,

I'm still alive preserved by rusted blood,

How quickly death leaves us cold

You may remember the warmth,

How fast I've frozen from death,

There is no heartbeat,

I do not feel the light,

Do not fear,

Open the door,

I'm your past,

I can be your future
