pressed too CLOSE
to be heard.
your breath
a secret
that writes itself
across MY skin.
“Closer,”
you murmur,
but the word
is already between us,
WARM,
melting
like candlelight.
I trace the space
between your WORDS,
find poems
hiding
in the way you breathe.
and when you smile
that half-finished kind
it feels like dawn
deciding
whether to RISE
or STAY.
NO promises.
NO sound.
just the pulse
of something spellbound,
breathing between US
like starlight
learning
how to TOUCH.
