Best Dad in the World. George Hurst

For Father’s Day 2025

Soon it will be Father’s Day

and still, I reach for you

in quiet hours, in ordinary things

in all I say and do

You never needed big words

to show the strength you had

just steady hands and kindness

the mark of a true dad

You laughed with me, you guided me

you stood by when I’d fall

no medals, yet to me you were

the greatest Dad in the world

I miss you more than words can say

your voice, your quiet ways

you’re with me still, in heart and soul

not just on special days

I miss you more than anyone

could ever truly know

That kind of ache lives deep inside

and never seems to go

The world keeps turning, time moves on

but love like yours won’t fade

you were, you are, the best there is

no matter how years trade

So here’s to you this Father’s Day

no gift, no card to send

just all my love, forever yours

my first and dearest friend.💔❤️❤️❤️❤️

Your dad sounds much as like my dad. I miss mine too on days like his birthday and Father's Day and all those other days in between those major ones. We were a team especially when cutting grass sometimes. Good job. We will see our fathers again someday.
