Beneath the Surface

Growth, Healing, and Unseen Strength

By Solene HartPublished 5 months ago 1 min read

I buried my fears in the earth so deep,

Tucked them away where no one would peep.

Each worry a seed, each tear a stone,

Growing in silence, I stood alone.

Through nights of sorrow, through days of grief,

I watered my heart, seeking relief.

Roots twisted tightly in the soil of my soul,

Anchored in darkness, yet making me whole.

No one could see the battles I fought,

The quiet wars that my silence had sought.

But beneath the surface, I found my way,

A garden of strength that bloomed in the fray.

Now I stand, with branches spread wide,

A testament to the roots that reside.

In the soil of pain, I learned to rise,

A quiet bloom beneath open skies.
