In the aftermath of my demise,
the creatures of the deep dance
as she rips out my heart.
Her fingers caress my skin.
I see myself in the water's touch.
Her fingers caress my skin
as she rips out my heart.
The creatures of the deep dance
in the aftermath of my demise.

Oh this is so cool. I am not familiar with mirror poetry. But I realised how everything repeated and came together in the middle. Well... Like a mirror. The point that meets the middle and did not repeat, was the line ending in, touch. Oh so you're looking down into the water. The creatures of the deep mirrored back at you as the works of your own hands. Outstanding work Lizzy 🤗❤️
