Believe in Thee
There is a past version that is so proud of you in how far you have come and there is a future version of you that is so grateful to you for not giving up.

Remember the times when we would yearn for certain things and beings to foster their being into our lives, where what we wanted was so far-fetched, dreams that we found so unfathomable to forge their breaths in our lives? It is wondrous and almost astonishing how existence in the most unimaginable ways, how we fathom that something we can never live without, life always turns out for the better when we let go of what no longer serves us, of what we can no longer control or any experience, person, entity or situation that we outgrow in our existential being.
Not because we lacked anything or there is something inherently wrong with us, but with the simple truth that the purpose that the particular being had in our lives is fulfilled, because we are constantly evolving as humans and every phase of life will demand something to let go of, to detach completely and to embrace the notion of everything that is meant for you will always find its way to you.
As on letting go, every facet of life would also invite us to embosom something new, to embellish in the newness of newfound light, to embody a new mindset, a new lifestyle, new habits and open our hearts in the wholeness of new people that will love us in ways we cannot fathom and the abundance of dreams that once seemed unattainable now striding as reminders of your true potential.
2024 in its brevity has been a whirlwind of the contrasting dualities of the goodness of the mirth and the darkness of melancholy. I have oscillated in the nuances of darkness that transform into light and joy that remarks the presence of sadness in its arrival fallacy. I have dived into the depths of my creations, overridden by the tides of my mundane tales, lost myself in the fallacies of what could be and finally found myself in the truth of the notion, There is a past version that is so proud of you in how far you have come and there is a future version of you that is so grateful to you for not giving up.
I cannot stress enough the magic of believing in your journey, holding unshakeable faith and confidence in your infinite potential and knowing that what you want is already on its way to you—this year taught me not to see which side of the virtual world has the grass greener in their garden and embrace the trueness of my stride, to be grateful of all the magnificence that belies its breaths in my abode. Being a writer has always been my dream, I would see other people’s trajectory and often be inspired by their accomplishments, believing that maybe this far-fetched dream would someday be my reality. But that is the beauty of life,
In the dance of the mortal realm, we wish upon the stars,
And someday we live in the dreams that we once admired from afar.
From being a teenager who dreamt of being a writer and recognised for my work to my journey and insights as a writer being published with one of the most popular feminist archives of the country @shethepeopletv, life has its mysterious ways of surprising you.
If you are reading this post, I hope you remember that everything you admire in someone else, already exists within you, it just requires you to work for it, believe in it and most importantly believe in the beauty and amazingness that you behold within you.
