Being Alone

A Life Of Solitude

Sometimes-

I lie,

And tell you,

I’m fine,

And I know that it’s wrong…

But-

Inside,

Always struggling,

Feels—

Like I’m dying,

Told I gotta be strong…

And—

Even when I’m trying,

To hold on,

I’m losing grip-

So I might fall,

No one to reach-

So why call,

Feels like-

I’m just better off,

Being alone…
