Behind Her Smile
Justice unserved

Behind her smile,
Her tears hidden.
Behind her lips,
Her voice, forbidden.
She has her secrets,
Only a few do know.
If her word slips out,
His sins will grow.
She has seen devils,
In this Angelic city.
They all watch her,
Such a pretty pity.
As the sunsets,
And the moon does rise.
He approaches her,
With a trusting disguise.
Only she knows,
What will happen now.
Her tears, hidden.
As she takes a bow.

I feel as if I am creating magic when my thoughts touch paper. So here I am.
Vibrant. Orange. Usually deep in thought.

Your imagery of disguise, devils, and hidden tears paints a very vivid story of vulnerability and danger.
