She carried wounds no eye could see,
love once broke her, set her free.
A girl who tried, but could not stay,
her heart would run, it feared the way.
Success was hers, her name was known,
yet deep inside she walked alone.
Then fate returned, a sudden start,
the boy who once had crushed her heart.
He wore the wings, a pilot’s pride,
the jet she boarded, he would guide.
No longer wild, no longer fast,
a youth pastor with prayers that last.
With tears he said, “forgive me, please,
i broke your soul, i bent your peace.
‘Be kind and tenderhearted too,
forgive as Christ forgave you’” (Ephesians 4:32).
She turned away, her heart unsure,
the pain was deep, the scars were pure.
But then the news, the sky grew dim,
a crash had silenced hope in him.
Her tears fell down, her heart released,
forgiveness bloomed, her soul found peace.
“For if you forgive men when they sin,
your father forgives you” (Matthew 6:14) within.
The past had gone, the chains undone,
Forgiveness shone like morning sun.
