I gaze upon the stars

close to the heart yet so far.

A gigantic bed of stars

floating in the ocean.

Eyes glued to the sky

heart racing pupils dilate.

I am thunderstruck;

once in a million surreal reality or dream,

an ocean upside down?

Lost deep in mysterious chants

snapping out of picturesque trance.

Far away above my head

sky isn't sky it's an ocean.

But how do I dive into it?

I hold my breath rub my feet

against ground to break the spell.

Am I sleeping is it a dream?

I move my hands walk around

It's all happening its real.

Liffting legs up I jump in the air

gravity gone wind is my plane.

The water stars swaying too far

breathing high I fly and fly,

breathlessness low adrenaline rush high.

Hanging in there below the roof of wet crystals,

I try putting my hands into it.

The moment fingertips touch the water

ocean breaks

stars fall

trance is broken.

The end of world end of me?

Before I think before I die

within a fraction of a second

everything is upside down.

Now the ocean is down up is sky

night is day stars are sun.

I am sitting at the beach

playing with other children.
