Beauty and A Beast

For everyone who lost their Rose

By Shawn.SPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

A lonely soul was traveling to find his place in this world. He stumbles

upon a rose seed, trying to grow. He knows from first sight this is the rose

for him. Something magical about this seed, He takes the seed with gentle

care and places it in the fur of this chest, right next to where his heart

used to be. The seed is now a bud, Beautiful and growing strong. When did

the seed turn into a bud? There's that magic he felt before.

The Beast doesn't look and feel well; his chest is hot, he's losing fur.

There's a pulse from his chest where his heart used to be, but there a rose

petal instead of his heart. Rose began to bring life back to the Beast.

No facial expressions first turned to smirks, then to a smile. At the same

time, The Beast's fangs began to subside. He's becoming a Human again.

Deep inside, the Beast is scared, losing this feeling he never felt before.

He momentary forgot that the seed is now a bud; he been watering and give

sunlight to the seed. Since fear set in the sky to turn to thunderclouds,

the gentle rain turned into a downpour. The bud stops growing and now is

scared. Not know that they both are scared, both sharing the same path and

goals in life. The rose needs a man with gentle hands, while the Beast is

becoming fierce to protect his rose. The rose uproots and moved away.

The Beast cries for seven moons straight, mourning the rose that got away.

The Beast doesn't look the same; the rose left something in the Beast that

started a change. It looks like a thorn, but it was another seed filled

with memories and love. The Beast had finally changed into a man. A

strong man with hands as soft as rose petals. This man now searches for

the rose who got away.
