A Beautiful disaster
one of my favorite mistakes
Occur when happily ever after
comes in unexpected wakes
Flooding doubt and reassurance
Filling my head, stealing my heart
When love makes her appearance
chaotic peacefulness will start
Delicate determination
fragile fractured frills and lace
Spontaneous hesitations
lead to glorious mistakes
The flow and flux of heartbeats
stirring a never ending high
Heated passion stirs soft sheets
before it all ends with goodbye
Experience begs repeating
though it always ends the same
For although love can be elusive
I'm first in line to play the game

We all learn something from the mistakes we make as we go along each day, but it how things end that really counts. Good job.
First in line, rarely picked, the fate of most, smitten, lovesick. Yet it only takes one, should it prove true, that's what I think when I think of you. Okay, that's probably not even worth a children's Valentine's Day card, much less Carlton or Hallmark, lol. I guess I have a ways to go in honing my craft. But your offering is charming, wistful & hopeful. I love it.
Absolutely Beautiful Kelli - Yes, and experience does beg repeating. Good luck in the challenge.
Moving and so well written. Good luck in the challenge
