Beautiful Danger

Mysteries Untold

By KJ PorterfieldPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

How beautiful and dangerous life can be

Take, for instance, a boat in the sea

How vast and how wide and how majestic

But then how all hope is lost when cometh a tempest

A cloud in the sky can be oh, so grand

But it also threatens the earth with rain or sand

The snow that falls brings light to the eyes

But it also brings death to those who stare too long at the sky

The lion, majestic above all creatures

Yet upon those he looks, there’s sparked a fear

A tree stands tall above a house

But when it is time, it comes crashing down

The heavens hold wonders glorious and profound

Yet sometimes stars fall, leaving their mark upon the ground

The sun to all the earth brings light and warmth

Yet too close or too far and light will fade from our hearth
