I like to stab the bear with the stick

In an attempt to get it to spill the beans

And finally fucking speak

Its mind because I need to know

What it is thinking when it shuts me out.

I'd love to be able to help it, you see.

But I must do this with the tone lathered in sarcasm,

And the prodding nature of my eyes.

I want to know every single fucking detail

Of all the things it refuses to admit out loud.

I need to know how to understand the intentions

Behind why you told me to stay away, forever.

I have no concept of space,

Personal or otherwise, I'll ignore it.

Do not think that I will respect your privacy

I must satiate my empathy first and always.

This is intense. I've been in situations where I felt like I needed to dig deep to understand someone's motives. Sometimes, being straightforward is the only way to get answers.
