Be Your Truth

That is all you are

By Julie O'Hara - Author, Poet and Spiritual WarriorPublished 3 years ago Updated 3 years ago 1 min read

When our days of flesh and bone are gone

When we are only memories in a scrapbook

Reflected in someone else’s interpretation of us

All that will be left is Our Truth

And how we lived, cared, and loved each other

The pictures of the past we leave behind

Will not be of material success, items owned and possessed

Or other earthly concerns

But the images will be reminders of our soul’s calling

Were we kind?

Were we loving?

Did we care and share?

We all are blessed with a Truth of our own

As individual as the fingerprints on our hands

Leaving imprints and marks on this world

Keep your Truth pure, Keep it Honest, Keep it Loving

Don’t leave room for lies, rumors and and misinterpretation.

We are all Truth

We are our own Truth

That is all
