Is this how color was supposed to be

By JeNoah LeePublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Color is people, places, things, color surrounds us with everything we see.

Color is realistic, color is unrealistic.

Now that’s how it was made to be.

Color comes in shades that can range in tones from medium to dark and light.

Color is perfection, color is imperfection.

Color can be shades that easily fade.

That’s how it came to be.

Color is objects, color is skin.

Color isn’t dangerous but when we begin to look at dark skin some people treat it like it’s a punishable sin.

That’s how society painted these colors out to be. Why are the darker colors looked down upon? Why has the world painted the picture of “if it’s not light or white it’s not right”?

Dark colors shouldn’t be afraid to leave their homes. Dark colors shouldn’t fear for their life when they see the colors of red and blue flashing lights.

All colors know what’s wrong and what’s right, clear as crystal, like black and white.

Why is this problem being ignored when it is so clear to see? Wouldn’t you agree? Or is it just me, that realizes that this shouldn’t be.

When will they see there’s only one color we bleed? How could they see when they care more about money and greed instead of the lives of humanity?

This is how they want it to be.

It’s embarrassing being 15, knowing I care more about the lives of humanity than the ones in charge who should be protecting the nation.

Are you kidding me? I am honestly and truly questioning their sanity.

Unless all colors can agree to come together in harmony, darker colors in unjustly bondage can not be free.
