The Power Of Stillness

Be.

Quiet.

It’s how I start every morning

Light stretching, a little yawning

Up at the ass crack of dawn

As I open my eyes

I see the sun rise

Aggressively peeking through my blinds

Most of the world is still asleep

I sit all alone, just the sun and me

Grateful for another day that we get to greet

It shines right on my face

I take some deep breath’s as I meditate

No need for vitamins, this is how I medicate

There’s something so beautiful about the quiet

The way it gently tames my inner riot

It’s intoxicating, I won’t deny it

It teaches me how to listen

Pay attention to things I’m missing

Tap into my intuition
