Be my vision, be my foresight.

Be my vision throughout the shadows,

In the darkness where I dwell,

Where sight would surely fail me,

And only hope could then foretell,

The hindrance by what's witnessed,

The doubt that would lurk and creep,

Uncertain as the tossing wave,

As my vessel would toss and weep,

Be my vision throughout the length of the storm,

The violence in the realm of thunder,

Where the waves churn in the maelstrom,

And the earth would tear asunder,

The mountains tremble at the quaking,

And the heavens thunder what’s in store,

The clouds that shed such bitter tears,

As the world would wage its war,

Be my vision in the lonely seasons,

Where joy is replaced with grief,

When hope seems to dwindle,

And there’s a destitution of belief,

When joy seems like a fools pursuit,

And the heart could not perceive,

For in such times of doom and gloom,

You have only to… Believe...
