Be here, right now...

share a moment with the girl in the meadow.

By Fabiola HernandezPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

She's rests on a field of flowers - pools of purples, pinks and yellows.

Fidgeting about with a frown on her sleeping face, dreaming of the future;

a nightmare rattled with fear & uncertainty - the monsters of the real world.

A butterfly lands on her nose and she wakes up with a quick sneeze.

She sits up, tears flowing down her cheeks. She rubs her tired eyes,

a meek attempt to rid the nightmare from her memory.

Even if she allowed it to prevail, the wind picks her up before it does.

Grazing over the top of her skin, she rises with it's presence.

Embraced by nature's divine creations and pure elements,

she could swear this is but a dream only it is not a dream

but the beauty of life passing her by while she was fast asleep.
