Lovelorn, oh lovelorn,

My heart aches for what's been torn.

A love once bloomed, now withered away,

Leaving me with nothing but dismay.

The memories of what we had,

Haunt me like ghosts, so sad.

The laughter, the joy, the love we shared,

Now replaced with pain and despair.

I long for the days when you were mine,

When our love used to shine.

But now I'm left with a broken heart,

Wondering how we grew so far apart.

The lovelorn heart beats on,

Hoping for a new love to dawn.

But until then, I'll remember what we had,

Even though it makes my heart so sad.
