Distraction

Distracted by the noise outside,

It's hard to concentrate and hide,

Sounds of cars and passing feet,

They keep me from being complete.

Ringing phones and idle chatter,

All add to the mental clatter.

Colleagues talking, unaware,

Their conversation fills the air.

I wish for peace, some quiet time,

Only my thoughts, and nothing to chime.

No more distractions, no more sound, it's time for focus to come around.
