She was a little ballerina in her dreams,
Hoping someday she can dance with him,
Longing for a prince charming,
Who can fulfill her longing.
But as she steps up,
As she tries to hop,
She realized that her little toes aren’t enough,
But instead of crying she bitterly laughed.
But she never stopped,
She tried to spin, she tried to hop,
She tried to do it gently,
But it wasn’t enough for everybody.
She tried to forget that dream of her,
Dancing and prince charming don’t really matter,
She tried to find her ability,
But she created her own identity.
She tried to forget this childhood idea,
The fantasy of being a ballerina,
With her toes stepping down,
She walked away against the ground.
Until she had lost in the middle of nowhere,
She then found herself writing on the paper,
And there she started a new journey,
With her newfound talent she wrote this poetry.
