Bad Things

Poem

By Desmond RazzanoPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

This game isn’t over until a fat lady sings.

I just can’t help that I like bad things.

One step forward, back three, that’s how it plays.

Some of my best memories were on some of my worst days.

Sun, sun, go away, please come back another time.

Run, run, go and play, be Tarzan on a swinging vine.

Tic toc, tic toc, the clock rings.

Almost time to breathe a world of even more bad things.

I don’t feel high, as I’m crashing down.

I don’t think I’m alive when I hit the ground.

I don’t always care if I belong if it fits me.

The Lord will use the door when he tries to split me.

This curtain never closes until everyone claps.

This fight isn’t over until somebody taps.

The truth never prevails before one of us breaks.

There’s so much disaster when our Mother Earth quakes.

Black, black, and yellow stripes, the bee shall perish if one stings.

Off, off, yes, kill the lights, where it’s dark I do bad things.

Real, real ice eyes, always realize real lies.

There comes a time to cut the chords to even more bad ties.

Shuriken throw, hurricane blow, bad things help my urethane flow.

I won’t be humane anymore after toxic shocks.

I won’t be the same anymore after dopamine blocks.

I will not be sober once the liquor grips me.

Life seems so much better when the bad things hit me.
