Bad Dream

A Child’s Story

By Brie Published 3 years ago 1 min read

Going about our nightly routine, my four year old stops and stares at me.

In a whiny voice she cries, I want a night ghost free.

So, hold me mama, when you come to bed.

I don’t want bad dreams inside my head.

A green ghost, with blue feet, last night he came to visit me.

He did not make a single sound, only stomped his feet on the ground.

No sound? I say.

No, mama….it was a dream. There are no sound inside of these.

It made me begin to wonder, is she right? Do dreams really have no sound?
