Awakening

Throughout the ages, I change, a whole host of different colour,

Spiralling a multitude, through a range, never getting duller.

My aura is brilliant white, though my eyes are turquoise blue,

Emanating from my head, Spiritually Awakened anew.

A rainbow of an essence comes from my immortal soul,

As life force breathes out, it makes me completely whole.

Complex thoughts roam around, inside of my head,

The chakras flow so bright - purple, indigo, light blue, green, yellow, orange and red.

Purple is for the crown, like a queen I wear,

No longer ashamed of who I am, my soul to all I bare,

Through this the soul links, to the eternal divine,

Through meditation, source wisdom is eternally mine.

Indigo is for foresight, from my soul’s own eye,

It can see so far, immeasurably beyond the sky,

It pierces this world through the foggy veil,

Providing wisdom and insight without fail.

Light blue is my voice, and for everyone I shout it loud,

I teach my wisdom, and allow my emotions to reach all so proud,

No more stifled mumbles, my voice is clear to be,

True to myself, completely and totally free.

Green is for the heart to feel everything so empathic,

A bond with nature and to others, anger totally static,

Emotion is a gift to open your heart with love,

To shower the world with abundance, of divine love.

Yellow in the solar plexus is my strength you see,

Glowing like a yellow sun, totally internally,

A burning sphere so bright, it lights the very soul,

A hunger for a passion, to keep it on a roll.

Orange is in the sacral, embers like a fire,

Kick starts my very soul, burning with desire,

Allows impetuousness, passion and creativity,

To incinerate my body, consuming the core of me,

Finally red is the base, the root to it all,

Allows connection and balance, and allows me not to fall,

A Connection to nature, that keeps me in the ground,

Without it, from elation, then I couldn’t tether down.

Awakening to be, a human shining bright,

Staring at the world with wonder, at the new encompassing light,

Chakras are a wonder, a connection to divine,

And we will experience this forever, until the end of time.
