Rise from among the clouds, siren keeper!
See the sun scrawl, gold-tipped pen thick strokes
stirring the skies hues. The stars are disgruntled
tea cakes, consistently cut to let the school of rosy
spotted koi fish navigate the Milky Way with ease.
Muse at the ringmaster losing his bearings, tipping
the fragile crystal sugar menagerie over, glass
and animal crackers raining down newborn
ideas upon our bird-nesting crowns.
Mr. Pachyderm, in a perpetual fuss
over time, hails the next available
hot air balloon to work today.
