Awaken
A storm that wakes the dead

A dark cloud around the soul
To blind an eye that does not know
To pierce a heart with an arrow
A wind so fierce it takes a toll
~
A strike of light atop a pole
To watch the darkness grow and grow
To shake the pane of a window
A shattered heart with every roll
~
Thunder that wakes the sleeping bone
Out of the grave of quiet rest
Causing havoc on those roam
Who dared to step outside their home
Will eat the skin right off your chest
Leaving nothing but a quiet moan
