AUTUMN - Life and the Sublime

We each have our own interpretation of the seasons

Crisp autumn leaves

tumble from the trees

Swirling in a manic dance

applauding life and the sublime

and the passing of summer

The fragile colorful wardrobe of nature

is constant and perpetual

yet ever changing

in both color and depth

like old friends

they are the same yet not the same.

The wind dances in falling leaves

with total abandon and celebration

life and nature together

The sensual and the sublime.

Autumn will soon concede to winter

and we will warm each other

with laughter that is bound

by the last fading remnants

of summer's glow

we inhaled from sunlight and moon shine.
