Autumn Love: A Memory to Hold

In the season of fall,

when leaves start to drop,

I met a girl, so lovely and tall,

my heart skipped a beat, didn't want it to stop.

Her hair was golden like the sun,

her eyes sparkled like the stars above,

I was sure, she was the one,

I was lucky to have her love.

But just like the leaves on the trees,

our time together came to an end,

now I am left with memories,

of a love that could not bend.

As I watch the autumn leaf fall,

I think of her, and what we had,

and though our love may be small,

the memories will always make me glad.
