Poems and Excerpts

By Sebastian FowlPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

feels like we always get stuck in the choked parts of the road

the chambers hold an echo and shake the flakes of the mold

adhere to your loose morals

zero obligations

a floral pattern as I'm lost in translation

I've been thinking about you too much lately

and how you pretend to sleep so we don't talk

Lately you seem like you enjoy to tie double knots on loose ends

to ensure it never unties itself again

I always wondered if I'm jay walking in your head, as the day moves, your shadow stalks your body.

attached like a lonely child, frayed like baby deer

smitten like a little boy who just discovered love, I've quit since then, etc., and all of the above

while you jog in place, dancing in my head from day to day, to think clearly...

I exercise the thought of you too often, you never move or have anything worth to say

heartbreak
