It turned out,
When Atlas Shrugged,
His overcoat tumbled.
As it hit the ground,
It was clear
That he was not,
As had been presupposed,
The single Titan
Ruggedly
Propping the sky
No, he was, actually,
A vast collective
Of those folk
The people who
Saw in themselves an echo
Of the false Atlas
Had sneered at
And mocked for their
“Disposability”.
Now, as clouds tumbled,
And dreams died,
There was no one
To flip those comforting
Burgers for pennies
