At times the world feels far too wide,
A restless sea, an endless tide.
I stand alone on shifting sands,
With hopes that slip through open hands.
At times the weight is hard to bear,
And silence lingers in the air.
The road ahead is long and steep,
And dreams seem distant, hard to keep.
But then a spark ignites the night,
A glimpse of hope, a thread of light.
At times, the smallest flicker glows,
And in the dark, a pathway shows.
For even when the heart feels weak,
At times, that’s all it takes to wake.
