"At The Family Reunion"

Summertime Celebration

By Taylor Published 5 years ago 1 min read

Oh, how I adore Fourth of July weekend,

Fireworks, great food, and of course lots of fun,

So much joy and excitement, I don’t know where to begin,

Surrounded by my family under the rays of the sun.

Family traveling from all across the nation.

Aunts, uncles, and cousins, it’s good to see you again,

It’s our family reunion, a time for celebration,

Barbeque, poolside games, "when does the spades begin?”

Family heritage big and strong,

Traditions and celebration that can’t be broken,

Timeless celebration, been happening for so long.

Passing down history, spreading love that’s unspoken.

Family bloodline so strong and ancient like a tree

Dear family, where will the next family reunion be?
