Passport

New identity
Confidence
New trust
In my Lord
My savior
Always there for me
No resentments
No hatred
Forgiveness
Peace of mind
Peace with myself
And others.
Don’t trust in love
at the very first sight.
From there on,
I have taken my time
To fall in love
at the second sight...

“Freedom”
The definition of freedom is: “Absence of subjection to foreign domination or despotic government” (Oxford Dictionary). All nations have fallen victims of oppression, at a given time in history. It is a characteristic of human nature: the desire to dominate others, expand territories, control, subdue, enslave, and even to commit genocide, to become “victorious”. My beloved country, the Dominican Republic, went under the dominion of France and Spain, before it became an independent nation.
