At First Bite

We are gathered here today...

If anyone saw me come in they also saw my discomfort

The slight twitch in my lip when small talk became unnatural

I move closer, beside you, I hover

I hide sincere lust with silence

Calculations upon recalculations

How can I close in

How do I approach

How many calories have I had today

I turn around, pace the room, turn back

Every time I see you I am LOVEstruck

You still offer yourself freely

Society frowns upon this infatuation

My inability to walk away

Your complete disregard for my demise

If only I had the power

The esteem, The control

A wetnap

I imagine the decadence of a future with you in it

Desire leaves me winded, I clear my throat

Put my hand on the hilt and push down on the blade

Double Chocolate Ganache

I do!

About the Creator

Regan Smith

This is the Bio of what you don't see.

The fire behind the eyes filled with tears.

The empty belly full of laughter.

The drawn out lies created by truth.

Enjoy the madness I find time to put forth non-telapathically...
