Asthma

I live to shorten your life expectancy.

I live for your veins to wither.

I live to wipe out your tissue.

I live to kill you

low nicotine percentage, you ask.

I live your life through your mild

your mild detachment.

You are ash and I am ash

and ash is divine

so you ask men

of fire’s blistering scare,

Lord are they aware?

But without a care

in their dance with the times

and your iridescent rhymes

They smoke away their despair.

But without a care,

silver handle,

coins to spare,

and your iridescent rhymes,

they forfeit seeking their pair.

sad poetry
