This poem was inspired by Sam Harty's poem below.

I had not heard of this form of poetry before, but when I read Sam's poem, I thought I must give it a go. Thanks for the inspiration Sam.

___++++___

A river flows with sounds of content

Bubbling energy not yet spent

Relentlessly you travel

To places yet not seen

Nowhere I have been

Give me your strength

Peace of mind

Guide me

Now

___++++___

[Author's note: A nonet poem is a nine-line poem where the number of syllables in each line decreases from nine down to one. Specifically, the first line has nine syllables, the second has eight, the third has seven, and so on until the last line has one syllable. Rhyme is optional, and the poem can be about any subject.]

Till next time,

    Enjoyed this poem! It reflects tranquility along with a sense of adventure. I was unfamiliar with this poem form myself.
