Asking for help!

I realized I have been playing it really safe so far here on vocal by staying in my comfort zone of writing poems.

I love poetry, but I feel like I've been hiding behind it cause it comes more naturally to me than other things.

I really want to start branching out and experimenting with new things, but that is scary!

And I noticed it is making me question and doubt myself. I'm starting to let a bit of negative self talk in, telling myself I'm not talented enough to do certain types of writing styles or genres.

And then I realize how fucked up that is because how can I say that if I'm not even trying?

It's just a way that I self-sabatoge I am realizing. Because that's what I'm used to doing because from a child I have gotten used to being put down and discouraged.

Well I'm here to say no more! It's time for me to stop this foolish thinking, and just move the fuck on in my life knowing that I am the badass I am.

Even if I'm not great at first, so what??

That's because I haven't given myself the chance to practice and fine tune myself and my skills. For all I know, I could be great at fantasy writing, or love something I've pushed off because I have been too chicken shit to try!

So I'm writing this as a motivator to myself to branch out and try new things.

But I am asking you for help!

I would like a prompt or idea outside of poetry of some sort.

My idea is I will write whatever prompt the first three people that comment tell me to.

This is extremely nerve wracking to me as it will be out of my control and comfort zone.

Can't guarantee I will do it well, but I'm ready for the challenge!

So if you're willing to help me out I would love your ideas!
