Don't leave me I shout.
The way those words pierce my throat as I scream them after you.
I thought you were the one for me, but I guess it was my fault when I
decided we just weren't meant to be.
As our different paths collided with each other like two cars in an impact.
How am I supposed to go on without you when you were my person.
The only one I could talk to.
Without you,
I've lost my spark like a lighthouse that goes out guiding one home.
Home.
You were my home.
The way you made me feel safe and warm in your arms.
The way I felt with you when I had no one else to turn to.
You were my best friend.
And you know how I struggle to call people my best friend, but you were
mine.
But I guess I've lost that too when we collided.
