The long, twisted shadows tap my window with their finger tips.
A faint whistle silences my dim bedroom.
It's a cold night as my soul shivers.
The candle flame flickers, eating away my inspiration.
I sharpened my pencil, take aim and stab my head; one by one, I pulled out the maggots from my brain.
They are not parasites, rather my friends; writing down these evil thoughts help me get through this lifeless, rigid machine of society.
Because having a sense of self and individuality its worth endangering my "freedom."
So I need to find and secure them, before they do, as the night darkens.
