There is an arrogance in every man
Coded in mankind’s DNA
Obstructive, constructive, futile, brutal and life giving may be
The spirit calls out saying your truth day in day out
The arrogance within, a silent but deadly opponent to the truth within
Capable of drearily, wearily wearing down ability, hope, shine, grace and need
The arrogance within becomes withal clear for all to see
Tale new and ancient at the same time
The arrogance within stating I can do all things not knowing I can do nothing
Until the truth within is found and revealed
Roll away the arrogance within for the truth to be revealed
That who you are and will be is coded in your DNA
We all have the DNA of giants encoded within spirit and soul
Patiently crafted and coded by the divine with intricate deliberation and design
As shown daily in nature’s abode
If only you take the effort, humility and deliberation demanded within
The arrogance within will fade and your truth will be revealed
A choice of mankind to make the arrogance within or the truth within
Our personal sojourn as life goes the story is written, there goes he, she
With the arrogance revealed or the truth within…
