Some people just don´t understand how alcohol can sometimes be really helpful.

Yes, it may be temporary, but it does a good job at numbing emotional pain.

And no, I don´t suggest you drink every time you feel sad or anxious.

What I am trying to say is that it helps other people, but it also kills some.

But let's highlight for now how it helps and disregard the fact that it can kill because we will eventually all gonna die anyway.

Here are the list:

First is alcohol's capability to change brain chemistry and momentarily quiet down negative emotions, which can temporarily relieve emotional suffering. Because of this, some people tend to consume alcohol when they're irritated, stressed out, or anxious.

Second, alcohol can enhance emotions, so when someone is drunk, they may feel a greater urge to communicate their feelings, whether they are happy or sad. This can lead to more honest and heartfelt conversations.

Third, Some people may use alcohol as a way to cope with emotional pain, trauma, or mental health issues. Life has been hard but drinking alcohol has always been easy.

Lastly, Some individuals just genuinely enjoy the taste of alcoholic beverages. They may drink for the flavor and experience rather than solely for the effects.

These are just few of the reasons why alcohol helps or this is just me justifying the fact that I am happy when I´m drunk. There may be joy in being sober. But I guarantee you that there is also extreme happiness in being drunk. Doing a lot of impulsive decisions, saying something that we might eventually regret, and releasing all the expectations that this world has.

Cheers!
